The
Académie Lyrique offers a singing and conducting workshop
on Mozart’s opera:
The
Magic Flute / Die Zauberflöte
The
workshop will take place in Vendôme, France (in the Centre
Region, 30 kilometres from Blois, 50 from Tours). It is open to
singers and conductors and pursuing master’s/ doctoral degrees
or with a professional background in either of these areas. There
is no age limit. The workshop will give the participants the rare
opportunity to benefit the services of a professional
orchestra.
The team of teachers and coaches is comprised
of:
. Alexandre Myrat, conductor, music director of the
Athens Camerata ; . Amaury du Closel, conductor, music
director of Opera Nomade ; . Anna Ringart, mezzo-soprano,
former director of the Paris Opera Young Singers Program (Centre
de Formation Lyrique) ; . Edouard Reichenbach, stage
director ; . Ruth Orthmann, stage director, German coach ; .
Helen Collyer, vocal coach and piano accompanist ; . Itai
Daniel, vocal coach and piano accompanist.
Upon completion
of the workshop, the participants will give public performances
of The Magic Flute, on July 20, 21 and 22, at the Rochambeau
Castle.
